Chief Payment Gateway Officer

Job Description

GR8 Tech is seeking a Chief Payment Gateway Officer (CPGO) to lead its Payment Gateway division. The CPGO will be responsible for driving operational excellence and growth, optimizing payment systems, enhancing client satisfaction, and driving revenue growth. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless payment processes, security, and scalability across global markets.Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a long-term strategy for the payment gateway division.
• Identify new business opportunities and establish strategic partnerships.
• Oversee the design, development, and continuous improvement of payment products.
• Ensure the payment gateway operates efficiently with high transaction success rates.
• Manage end-to-end integration processes for new payment providers and client platforms.
• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team.
• Ensure compliance with global regulatory standards.
• Represent the payment gateway division in discussions with stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 10+ years in payments or fintech, including 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Proven experience in high-risk payment processing.
• Expertise in managing multi-currency and GEO-specific payment systems.
• Deep understanding of payment gateway architecture and operations.
• Strong grasp of global regulatory standards (AML, KYC, PCI DSS).
• Excellent communication skills and experience managing relationships.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Ukrainian or Russian is a plus.
• Flexibility to relocate to Cyprus or work closely with management on-site.
