Senior Network Engineer at 2K

2K is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join their Network Operations team in Prague. The team is responsible for the deployment, operations, and troubleshooting of production and enterprise networks. The ideal candidate will ensure the existing network runs at its peak and provide support to customers experiencing network issues. They will also respond to and troubleshoot alerts, participate in on-call rotation, and roll out new network infrastructure remotely. The role requires both on-premise data center skills and familiarity with cloud technologies.Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring optimal network performance.
• Providing support for network-related customer issues.
• Responding to and troubleshooting alerts.
• Rolling out new network infrastructure remotely.
• Optimizing automation and monitoring systems.

Requirements:

• CCNP/JNCIP certification or equivalent experience.
• In-depth troubleshooting skills in a multi-vendor environment (Juniper, Arista).
• Advanced knowledge of routing protocols and network threat detection & remediation.
• Advanced knowledge of switching and wireless technologies and protocols.
• Advanced knowledge of next-generation firewall systems (Palo Alto).
• Advanced knowledge of Data Centre infrastructure (Arista CVP, Juniper Apstra).

Preferred skills:

• Familiarity with networking in major cloud providers.
• Exposure to network automation NETCONF/YAML, Ansible.
• In-depth knowledge of VXLAN/EVPN for Arista and Juniper.
• Advanced knowledge of DDOS protection and mitigation - Arbor APS and TMS.
• Knowledge of cloud based DDOS protection services.
• Knowledge of scripting languages Python/Perl for automation.
