OpenEye is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to cover Northern Illinois and Iowa. The Regional Sales Manager will promote and sell OpenEye Web Services video management system to commercial channel partners in the physical security industry. This role involves managing sales efforts, building relationships with regional accounts, and orchestrating the regional development of key national partners.
Responsibilities include: - Meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Delivering new channel partners
- Building relationships with regional accounts
- Managing sales efforts including goal setting and territory management
- Orchestrating the regional development of key national partners
- Preparing for and attending key regional and national trade shows
- Allocating time to office work for strategy and report preparation
- Resolving customer issues professionally
Requirements include: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum 5 years outside sales experience
- 3 years “Business to Business” sales experience
- Strong territory management skills
- Ability to travel overnight 70% – 85% of the time
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CRM software
- Team-oriented mindset
- Corporate level presentation/reporting abilities
- Technical aptitude
- Account development skills
