DevRev is seeking a Sales Solutions Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions. He/She will collaborate with Solutions Architects and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet customer requirements. The Sales Solutions Engineer will play a key role in the sales process, and support the development of technical proposals.
Role involves: - Providing technical support to the sales team.
- Conducting live product demonstrations.
- Collaborating with customers to understand their technical requirements.
- Assisting in the creation of technical proposals.
- Analyzing competitor products.
- Training sales teams on the technical aspects of products and solutions.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
- Customizing solutions to meet specific customer requirements.
- Ensuring a seamless transition of new customers to the implementation and customer success teams.
- Working closely with internal teams.
Requirements: - 2-7 years of presales, sales engineering, solutions engineering experience.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and explain complex concepts clearly.
- Basic coding skills in any popular programming language.
- Familiarity with API integrations and the ability to work with webhooks.
- Proven experience in conducting product demonstrations and developing technical proposals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer engagement.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in competitive analysis and market research.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% based on client and business needs.
