Job Description
The company is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join its Expert Services team. This role involves working directly with customers to understand their business and technical requirements, guiding them through key technical concepts, and facilitating the successful implementation of the commercetools Frontend solution. The Senior Solutions Architect will serve as a trusted advisor, providing ongoing technical guidance and solution design to new and long-term customers, assisting them in maintaining and enhancing their e-commerce front-ends.
Role involves:
- Providing technical guidance and solution design.
- Leading discovery and solution design sessions.
- Developing samples, proof of concepts, and code snippets.
- Facilitating the onboarding process for new customers and partners.
- Creating materials, presentations, and playbooks.
- Staying updated with the latest trends in e-commerce, web, and SaaS technology.
- Acting as a bridge between business and technical teams.
- Fostering strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.
Requirements:
- Experience as a customer-facing solution architect, technical consultant, or similar role in the e-commerce industry.
- Experience with version control (Git), frontend deployment platforms (e.g. Netlify, Vercel), CI/CD processes, cloud providers (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure), environment management, deployment strategies, observability and monitoring.
- Experience in software development for production-ready applications.
- Experience with modern frontend development languages and technologies (e.g. React, nextJS) and integrations with SaaS ISV vendors (e.g. Contentful, Algolia, Adyen).
- Ability to compose and decompose architectural diagrams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally with pre-sales, post-sales, engineering, operations, and delivery teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
