ShipMonk, a leading 3PL provider for e-commerce brands, is seeking a Senior FrontEnd Engineer to join their Product Development Team in Prague. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership on high-impact projects and be an expert on large sections of the codebase. Role involves:
- Providing technical leadership on high-impact projects.
- Making architectural and design decisions.
- Setting short to medium-term strategic technical direction.
- Shaping broad architecture and shipping large services.
- Reducing the complexity of projects, services, and processes.
- 5 years of experience in software development.
- High seniority in at least one of the PHP, Java, or Typescript programming languages.
- Experience with PHP, Java, Typescript, Python, RabbitMQ, AWS Cloud, Docker, Datadog, Snowflake, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
- A monorepo for easier CI checks and code sharing.
- Dockerized services for local development.
- Build deployments to a hosted Kubernetes cluster in AWS.
- Automated coding rules and static analysis.
- Concurrence and race condition mitigation in application design.
- Support by DataDog, Sentry, and Opsgenie.
- HA, failover, and autoscaling.
- Experienced colleagues.
- Automatically generated OpenApi documentation.
- Analysis of terabytes of data using Snowflake.
