Engineering Manager, Otter - Sao Paulo

Job Description

Otter is seeking an Engineering Manager in Sao Paulo to lead a team of software engineers. Otter offers a range of software and hardware solutions for restaurants, including order unification, QR code ordering, POS, and kiosks. The Engineering Manager will set team priorities, manage direct reports, and define the team's roadmap. What This Role Involves:

• Setting and communicating team priorities aligned with organizational goals.
• Managing a team of direct reports, including hiring, leading, and developing individuals.
• Setting clear expectations and providing regular feedback and coaching.
• Defining the team's roadmap and proposing multi-quarter plans.
• Evaluating architectural impact and building consensus for system direction.
• Collaborating with engineers to improve technology and systems.
• Designing scalable, fault-tolerant architectural systems.
