Business Development Manager

Job Description

Hudson River Trading is seeking a Business Development Manager to support its India equities and derivatives business in Mumbai. This role involves guiding the development of HRT's India platform, interacting with exchanges, broker-dealers, clearing firms, and technology service providers. The candidate will collaborate with internal teams such as Core Technology, Systems, Algo, Clearing, Post-trade, and Compliance to support HRT’s day-to-day business.Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Business Development team with analysis and research
• Liaising with third parties (exchanges, regulators, clearing firms, brokers, banks, etc.)
• Deploying trading strategies across India markets
• Assisting with technology releases and troubleshooting
• Automating processes with technical teams
• Ensuring data accuracy and resolving discrepancies
• Monitoring post-trade performance and trade bookings
• Managing and mitigating internal and external risks

Requirements:

• Degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or business administration preferred
• 5+ years of experience in a financial institution and/or trading firm
• Experience with Asia equity and/or derivatives trading and market structure
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Keen interest in technology and trading
• Ability to work across disciplines
