Chief Compliance Officer

Job Description

Hudson River Trading is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer to join their Dublin team. This role focuses on European regulation, specifically in algorithmic trading. The ideal candidate will be proactive, collaborative, and a strong leader. HRT is an organization where everyone is valued.Responsibilities:

• Actively liaise and communicate with the CBI
• Maintain and develop compliance policies and procedures
• Oversee the compliance program
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and monitoring
• Act as a point of contact for regulatory bodies
• Respond to regulatory inquiries
• Complete regulatory filings and understand MiFID requirements
• Review surveillance system alerts
• Develop and deliver compliance training
• Monitor regulatory developments
• Provide compliance advice on trading and business initiatives
• Oversee the anti-money laundering program
• Complete ad hoc tasks

Requirements:

• Degree level education
• 10+ years of trading compliance experience
• Experience liaising and communicating Central Bank of Ireland is required
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Comfort working in a technical environment
