People Operations Generalist

Job Description

Hudson River Trading is seeking a People Operations Generalist to support its People team. The People team is responsible for the well-being and performance of all employees across HRT's global offices. The People Operations Generalist will oversee key operational functions, ensuring a smooth experience for employees at HRT. Role involves:

• Overseeing and manage global onboarding processes
• Serving as the main point of contact for new hires
• Leading and managing the end-to-end new hire orientation program globally
• Managing employee and organizational data in Workday
• Ensuring compliance with document retention guidelines globally
• Working closely with Legal, HR, and Compliance to ensure compliance with labor regulations and mandatory trainings
• Tracking and managing all certification milestones for international regulations
• Coordinating and submitting required employment data reports
• Owning vendor relationships for the team

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in people-related operational functions
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
• Experience with HR software platforms, Workday preferred
• Ability to learn new technology quickly
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of relevant employment laws preferred
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding written communication skills
