Software Engineer - Treasury Infrastructure

Hudson River Trading is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Treasury Infrastructure team in Austin, TX. The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that support HRT's treasury functions. This individual will collaborate with HRT's Funding, Finance, and Optimization teams to ensure the treasury systems are efficient, secure, and scalable.Responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and implementing treasury software applications using C++ and/or Python.
• Collaborating with Treasury and Finance teams to integrate software solutions.
• Maintaining and optimizing treasury infrastructure, including databases, cloud services, and network configuration.
• Identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement within treasury operations.
• Providing technical support for treasury systems and resolving issues promptly.
• Ensuring all treasury systems comply with regulatory requirements and security protocols.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience building treasury infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and/or Python.
• Knowledge of treasury operations, cash management, and financial instruments (a plus).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling (a plus).
