Hudson River Trading is seeking an AV & Conferencing Systems Engineer to support their APAC and EMEA offices. This role is responsible for the daily operation, support, and administration of audio-visual and unified communications technology, ensuring seamless technology experiences for HRTers.Responsibilities include:
- Serving as the subject matter expert for AV/UC issues in APAC/EMEA.
- Developing and refining hardware automation and software integrations.
- Providing technical support for live and hybrid events.
- Performing regular room checks and preventative maintenance.
- Assisting with new equipment evaluation and systems design.
- Delivering feedback on existing technology.
- Responding to support tickets and service requests.
- Collaborating with third-party development teams and internal stakeholders.
- Creating and maintaining documentation.
- Consulting on third-party AV requirements.
- Serving as a systems administrator for supported UC platforms.
- Familiarity with AV/UC systems operation and design principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot audio/video signal flow.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to solve intricate problems creatively.
- Advanced knowledge of networked systems, end-user hardware, telephony/VoIP, and Windows/Mac/Linux platforms.
- Proficiency in interpreting schematic documents and drawings.
- Adaptability to new systems and technologies.
- Ability to move up to 50lbs, climb ladders, and crawl under furniture.
