Engineering Manager, Enterprise Security

Job Description

Hudson River Trading is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead their Enterprise Security team. The Enterprise Security team is responsible for employee identity & access management, endpoint security, and safeguarding IT infrastructure. This role involves leading a team of security engineers to ensure HRT employees are secure and productive on any device, globally. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for finding creative security solutions that enhance user experience while maintaining robust security.Responsibilities include:

• Defining technical strategy for securing enterprise products and services
• Designing, reviewing, and implementing robust security solutions
• Partnering with vendors and engineering teams to drive initiatives in IAM, data protection, and endpoint security
• Fostering a high-performing and inclusive team environment

Requirements include:

• 5+ years of experience in information security
• 3+ years of experience leading a technical team
• Coding experience in at least one language (Python preferred)
• Broad knowledge across security disciplines
• Strong decision-making ability balancing productivity and security
• Experience working with partners to achieve company-wide impact
