Hudson River Trading (HRT) is seeking a skilled Windows Engineer to enhance their IT team in Singapore. The candidate will focus on expanding and modernizing the Windows platform, increasing Azure utilization, and automating processes. The role involves designing and operating global Azure VDI infrastructure, implementing configuration as code, and developing PowerShell systems to improve reliability.

Responsibilities include:

  • Engineering and operating a hybrid cloud Windows infrastructure.
  • Developing PowerShell systems to automate tasks.
  • Implementing configuration as code.
  • Leveraging automation to address inefficiencies in Windows endpoints and Azure resources.
  • Participating in ongoing engineering and support efforts.

The right candidate should have:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Microsoft-based technology engineer.
  • Proven track record of implementing VDI solutions using Windows 365, Autopilot, and Intune.
  • Expert level knowledge in Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, and Active Directory.
  • Experience with Salt, Ansible, or Microsoft DSC.
  • CI/CD experience, preferably with Jenkins, to maintain PowerShell-based automated workflows.
  • Experience aggregating Windows event logs into systems like ELK stack or Splunk.
  • A design approach focused on security, business continuity, high availability, and scalability.
