Job Description
Gastroenterology Consultants (GEC), supported by GI Alliance, is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician Assistant in Pearland, TX. The role involves providing scheduled patient services, completing patient histories and physicals, determining tentative diagnoses, ordering laboratory tests, and counseling patients and families.
The Physician Assistant will also participate in continuing education and maintain good standing for credentialing. They will work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing scheduled patient services under the direct supervision of a physician.
- Completing patient histories and physicals.
- Determining tentative diagnoses and ordering appropriate laboratory tests.
- Counseling patients and families on health and disease.
- Participating in continuing education and training.
- Working a flexible schedule as dictated by business needs.
Requirements:
- State Licensed Physician Assistant
- Gastrointestinal experience preferred but not required (will provide training)
GEC offers:
- Base salary plus bonus potential
