Job Description
Gastroenterology Consultants of San Antonio (GCSA), supported by GI Alliance, seeks a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for their Westover Hills GI Group. GCSA is committed to delivering individualized patient care, leveraging GI Alliance’s business and organizational support. This role offers the opportunity to focus on providing top-notch care in a successful private practice setting.
Role Involves:
- Providing scheduled patient services under physician supervision in an outpatient clinic setting with some hospital coverage.
- Completing patient histories and physicals.
- Determining tentative diagnoses and ordering appropriate laboratory tests.
- Counseling patients and families on health and disease.
- Participating in continuing education and training.
- Working a flexible schedule based on business needs.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- State Licensed Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care Certification) or Physician Assistant.
- Gastrointestinal experience preferred.
