Krafton is seeking a Lead of Publishing Planning to join their team in Seoul. This role involves collaborating with investment organizations to assess publishing potential, managing procedures for publishing agreements, and supporting key management decisions. The Publishing Planning organization is under the Chief Global Publishing Officer (CGPO) and reports to the Publishing Management division.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in establishing and executing systematic collaboration and decision-making processes from the sourcing and investment stages to the conclusion of publishing agreements. He/she will be responsible for designing and operating testing and evaluation processes for potential publishing games, optimizing collaboration between publishing groups and studios, and planning and executing processes for final publishing decisions, reporting to the CGPO. He/she will also build publishing conditions and negotiation frameworks to enhance efficiency and systematically manage risks.

This leader will also lead clear communication with stakeholders, disseminate processes, and drive integrated performance creation. He/she will share the publishing group's strategy and direction with management and the investment division to align external IP discovery.

Role involves:

  • Establishing systematic collaboration and decision-making processes.
  • Planning and operating testing and evaluation processes for potential publishing games .
  • Optimizing collaboration between publishing groups and studios.
  • Planning and executing processes for final publishing decisions and reporting to the CGPO.
  • Building efficient publishing conditions and negotiation frameworks for systematic risk management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of strategy/business planning/management planning experience in a large or global corporation.
  • Core Gamer with deep understanding of the game, industry and gamer culture.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to plan and deliver results throughout the project.
  • Experience in process innovation and building, capable of building or improving collaborative processes to create integrated results with various stakeholders under a highly complex organizational structure.
  • Leadership: Experience building and leading agile teams with a small number of colleagues.
