Krafton is seeking a talented Game DevOps Engineer to join their team in Seoul. This role is focused on ensuring the smooth operation and technical support of the game platform, involving large-scale global multi-cloud management and optimization. The candidate will work with various departments and global partners, contributing to cost reduction and comprehensive documentation.

Krafton operates a game service on a large-scale cloud infrastructure. Engineers from diverse backgrounds integrate existing and new technologies to create the optimal game operation environment. They approach tasks reasonably and make various attempts and decisions to ensure stable game services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring smooth game platform operation and providing technical support (DevOps).
  • Managing and improving large-scale global multi-cloud environments.
  • Reducing infrastructure costs.
  • Communicating and documenting with game platform-related departments and global partners.

Krafton Requires:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Ability to troubleshoot based on understanding of Linux O/S.
  • Ability to learn/build automation using one or more programming languages (Bash, Python, etc.).
  • Ability to learn/write efficient infrastructure code (IAC) and operate various tools.
  • Continuous learning and application of new technologies.
  • Ability to understand complex infrastructures and create optimized documentation.
  • Ability to respond remotely or commute in case of emergency.
  • No disqualifications for overseas travel.

Krafton Prefers:

  • A degree in Computer Science or equivalent theoretical knowledge.
  • Experience and understanding of game development or game services.
  • Proficiency in foreign languages such as English or Chinese.
  • Skills in container technology (Docker), K8s, and AI-related technologies.
  • At least 3 years of experience in related work areas.
