Job Description
Elastic is seeking a Senior Manager for its Customer Engineering team in the APJ region. This role involves managing a team of customer architects focused on Observability, Cybersecurity, and Search use cases. The Senior Manager will help customers realize value, drive consumption, and ensure customer retention and expansion.Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing and guiding a team of customer architects.
- Providing technical guidance and aligning technical plans with product capabilities.
- Developing and implementing technical strategies for the APJ region.
- Understanding the APJ market and local customer needs.
- Collaborating with regional sales leaders and product teams.
- Representing the Customer Engineering team in technical discussions and addressing technical challenges.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing technical teams in a customer engineering environment.
- Strong background in distributed datastores, Observability, Cybersecurity, or Search.
- Experience with Elastic solutions and familiarity with emerging technologies.
- Strong communication and planning skills.
