Senior Public Sector Compliance Analyst

Job Description

Elastic is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to join their Information Security (InfoSec) team, focusing on US Public Sector compliance. In this role, the Senior Compliance Analyst will contribute to the strategy, policy, and programs for information security company-wide.

The Senior Compliance Analyst will maintain and communicate a strong security posture. The role directly supports the overall success of the team and the company.

What this role involves:

• Leading FedRAMP and Department of Defense (DoD) Impact Level 4+ preparation, annual assessments, continuous monitoring processes, and Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) management
• Serving as a trusted advisor in FedRAMP and Department of Defense (DoD) Impact Level 4+ for Engineering, IT, Legal, and HR departments
• Striving for a modern governance and audit experience, powered by data, automation and metrics
• Researching updates to public sector compliance standards and regulations to build strategic roadmaps

Requirements:

• Has prior experience building and operating DoD Impact Level 4 or above cloud service environments, and/or Is eligible to work in DoD Impact Level 4 or above cloud service environments
• Experience leading compliance audits and certification processes in a cloud native company, working with NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, FedRAMP, and Department of Defense (DoD) compliance frameworks
• A high degree of autonomy, combining the ability to prioritize and coordinate with a strong attention to detail
• Experience working with cross functional teams and interpreting sophisticated compliance requirements into understandable language
