Elasticsearch - Senior Software Engineer - Storage, Java at Referral Board

Elastic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to enhance storage efficiency, advance ES|QL solutions, and optimize object storage. The engineer will contribute to improving storage for metrics, logs, and data types. They will enhance logging solutions, advance metrics processing, and improving storage efficiency. The role involves extending logic for querying and aggregating data. Responsibilities involve working within data storage mechanisms and query capabilities of Elasticsearch. The engineer will improve the storage engine area, build data-intensive features, fix bugs, and increase testing coverage while enhancing code clarity. They will also work with community members on issues and pull requests, write Java code, and collaborate with a globally distributed team.

Requirements include:
