Elastic is seeking a Federal Account Executive focused on NASA/NSF accounts. The role involves driving adoption of Elastic's AI-powered search solutions, positioning the candidate as a trusted advisor, and identifying new business opportunities. The candidate will collaborate with various Elastic business functions and develop a comprehensive business plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive adoption of Elastic's AI-powered search solutions.
  • Assist customers in using Elastic's search analytics.
  • Champion open source offerings.
  • Identify and develop new use cases.
  • Collaborate with Elastic business functions.
  • Identify new business opportunities and navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Develop a comprehensive business plan.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in SaaS subscription sales.
  • Understanding of Enterprise Search, Log Analytics, Security, APM, and Cloud.
  • Ability to build relationships.
  • Sales forecasting skills (SFDC).
  • Enthusiasm for open source.
  • Prior experience selling into Enterprise accounts.
