Sr Analyst, Financial Reporting

Job Description

Elastic is seeking a Senior Analyst to join their International Reporting team. This role involves preparing statutory ledgers, reviewing financial schedules, and project managing financial statement audits. The Senior Analyst will collaborate with accounting, tax, legal, and treasury teams to fulfill statutory reporting requirements for international entities.

What This Role Involves

• Preparing and maintaining statutory ledgers that track US GAAP vs local GAAP/IFRS differences year over year.
• Reviewing financial schedules to support external service providers.
• Managing financial statement audits.
• Monitoring the implementation of new accounting standards under local GAAP/IFRS.
• Collaborating with various internal groups.
• Assisting with implementation of new systems.
• Proposing improvements to processes and internal controls.
• Participating in other international reporting projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Active CPA/CA/ACCA (or equivalent credentials).
• 5+ years of external audit, accounting, and/or financial reporting experience.
• Working knowledge of IFRS.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with large ERP system (Netsuite preferred).
• High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing projects and priorities simultaneously
