Canonical is seeking a Silicon Alliances Ecosystem Development Manager to join their team in Taipei, Taiwan. Canonical is known for Ubuntu, that is the fastest-growing enterprise Linux and a platform for cloud computing. This role involves working with semiconductor companies to combine open source adoption with innovative optimizations.

The candidate will be responsible for developing joint product roadmaps, driving delivery, formulating go-to-market plans, and conceptualizing new business models.

The Silicon Alliances Ecosystem Development Manager will represent Canonical to partners and ensure project plans are created and executed.

Role Involves:

  • Represent Canonical to partners.
  • Develop understanding of partner strategies and technologies.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Develop joint Go To Market strategy and campaigns.
  • Negotiate successful contracts.

Requirements:

  • B.A / B.S / B.E degree in science, technology and/or engineering.
  • Understanding of the semiconductor industry and ecosystem.
  • Experience in software and system architecture is preferred.
  • Customer-facing experience in business development, technology strategy or similar functions.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to think and work at both strategic and tactical levels
  • Disciplined and self motivated for a remote-first workplace environment.
