Canonical seeks an Engineering Manager to lead teams focused on Big Data and MySQL databases. This role involves building scalable data solutions for Kubernetes and cloud machines. The Engineering Manager will hire, coach, and mentor team members, contribute code when needed, and manage expectations with stakeholders. They will advocate for agile software development practices and ensure the delivery of excellent products.

Role Involves:

• Leading a team building scalable data solutions

Requirements:

• Software engineering background with Python and Golang experience
• Experience running in production and at scale, preferably with Big Data or MySQL
• Excellent judgment about people
• Proven ability to build high-quality, open-source software
• Proven ability to drive good engineering practices
