Software Engineer - Python/Golang - Kubernetes

Job Description

Canonical is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Kubernetes product team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building operators and addons, offering lifecycle management of mission-critical components and zero-ops integration of projects into Kubernetes. This role offers the opportunity to work with the latest Kubernetes features and collaborate with industry peers and partners. Canonical is a pioneering tech firm at the forefront of the global move to open source.

The Software Engineer will work with expert engineers in many fields, in a distributed work environment with twice-yearly team sprints in person.

Role Involves:

• Writing high-quality code to create new features.
• Debugging issues and interacting with a vibrant community.
• Collaborating proactively with a distributed team.

Requirements:

• Golang developer fluent in Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM or similar degree.
• Love of technology and working with brilliant people.
