The role involves:

• Improving automated test capabilities
• Performing automated and manual testing of Ubuntu
• Suggesting solutions to product problems
• Collaborating with the project team
• Identifying process bottlenecks
• Collecting quality data
• Preparing time estimates for testing
• Documenting bugs in the database
• Working with development teams on automated testing
• Communicating with colleagues in different time zones
• Triaging test reports and customer bugs
