Job Description
Canonical is seeking a Cloud Field Engineer to assist global companies in adopting private cloud infrastructure, Linux, cloud-native operations, and open-source applications. The Cloud Field Engineer will apply expert insights to solve real-world customer problems, enabling enterprise adoption of Linux Ubuntu, OpenStack, Kubernetes, and related technologies. The role involves diverse responsibilities including serving as a Linux and cloud solutions architect for customers, designing private and public cloud solutions, and working hands-on with technologies for deployment and testing. The Cloud Field Engineer will also develop Kubernetes operators and Linux open-source infrastructure-as-code using Python.

- University degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Sound knowledge of cloud computing concepts & technologies.
- Practical knowledge of Linux and networking.
- Intermediate to Advanced level of Python programming skills.
