NetSuite Engineer

Job Description

Canonical is seeking a Business Systems Engineer with NetSuite experience. This role is within the Commercial Systems unit, specifically the Business Systems team, and involves working with NetSuite, Salesforce, and other systems.

The engineer will collaborate with operations teams, implement business processes, and maintain system compliance. The role offers a chance to understand the business, uphold high engineering standards, and deliver a first-class experience to Canonical employees.

This is a remote role based in the EMEA region.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering solutions in NetSuite, Salesforce, and other business systems
• Collaborate on business specifications, technical designs, and code reviews
• Learn Canonical business processes
• Coach, mentor, and offer career development feedback (depending on seniority)
• Develop and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices

Requirements

• Exceptional academic track record
• Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or compelling alternative narrative
• Track record of exceeding expectations
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or other CRM/ERP systems
• Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills
• Result-oriented with a personal drive to meet commitments
• Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events (up to two weeks long)
