Salesforce Engineer

Job Description

Canonical is seeking a Salesforce Engineer to join their Business Systems team. The successful candidate will develop engineering solutions in NetSuite, Salesfore, and other systems. The role involves collaborating with colleagues, learning business processes, and mentoring junior team members as seniority grows. Canonical is a leading provider of open-source software and operating systems, known for its distributed collaboration and commitment to engineering quality.

The role is based remotely in the EMEA region and involves occasional international travel.

Responsibilities:

• Develop engineering solutions in NetSuite, Salesforce, and other business systems
• Collaborate with colleagues on business specifications, technical designs, and code reviews
• Learn Canonical business processes
• Depending on seniority, coach, mentor, and offer career development feedback
• Develop and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices

Requirements:

• Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
• Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling narrative about your alternative chosen path
• Track record of going above-and-beyond expectations to achieve outstanding results
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or other CRM/ERP systems
• Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills
• Result-oriented, with a personal drive to meet commitments
• Ability to travel internationally twice a year, for company events up to two weeks long
