Canonical is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive sales in the Middle East. Canonical is positioned as a challenger to major enterprise software vendors, delivering open-source solutions from data centres to cloud and edge environments. This role involves building relationships with customers in sectors like government, banking, and utilities.
Role involves: - Representing Canonical and its solutions in the assigned territory.
- Building and executing a territory plan.
- Developing new pipeline through outreach and prospecting.
- Closing contracts to meet quarterly and annual targets.
- Managing customer relationships through all sales stages.
- Collaborating with field engineers to propose solutions.
- Maintaining accurate pipeline data in Salesforce.
Requirements: - Experience with complex deals in sectors like government, banking, or utilities.
- Strong understanding of forecasting, territory management, and account management.
- Experience with Middle Eastern customers.
- Strong network with channels, partners, ISVs, and hardware vendors in the Middle East.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering or computer science.
- Experience of open-source technology and solutions.
- Experience in enterprise software or technology sales planning and execution.
- Track record of achievement in sales targets and new account wins.
- Professional written and spoken English.
- Ability to travel for customer engagements and company events.
