YouGov is seeking a motivated and communicative individual for a part-time Telephone Interviewer position in Lucerne. The role involves conducting social science interviews via telephone, accurately recording responses, handling hotline calls, and ensuring data accuracy. The position offers flexible hours from Monday to Saturday, with a minimum of two evening shifts per week.

The successful candidate will support YouGov's clients from the private sector as well as the public sector - including federal government, cantons and universities - with valuable insights. In this role, they will give the Swiss population a voice that is really heard.

After a successful probationary period, there is the possibility of working from home. YouGov is one of the largest market and social research institutes in the German-speaking area and Swiss market leader.

Role Involves:

  • Conducting social science interviews in the telephone lab in Lucerne (NO SALES!)
  • Correctly recording and entering answers into the system
  • Answering hotline calls and handling inquiries professionally
  • Ensuring the accuracy and quality of the collected data
  • Communicating with the Swiss population in a friendly and professional manner

Requirements:

  • Accented-free Swiss German
  • Availability for at least two evenings per week (5:30 PM – 9:00 PM), and one Friday evening and one Saturday morning or afternoon per month
  • Confident and self-assured manner on the telephone
  • Ability to quickly grasp connections, learn quickly, and reliably put tasks into practice
  • Committed and precise way of working
  • Independent and self-reliant in handling tasks
  • Good computer skills
  • Resilient, flexible, and able to work in a team
  • Enjoyment of communicating on the telephone
  • Experience in telephone customer contact is an advantage
