YouGov is seeking a Research Manager to manage and deliver market research projects related to political campaigns, polling, and politically sensitive topics. The Research Manager will support and develop key client accounts, and contribute to the wider YouGov team in Australia. The role involves managing 1-2 research executives and collaborating with an in-house operations team.Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement research approaches using qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
  • Design questionnaires and discussion guides, oversee questionnaire scripting and testing.
  • Manage projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage, coach, and mentor research executives.
  • Analyze results from quantitative and qualitative research to identify key insights and demographic trends.
  • Prepare clear, accurate, and compelling reports and deliver presentations.
  • Develop close relationships with key contacts to understand their needs.
  • Support the preparation of proposals and quotations for new business development.
Requirements:
  • 5 to 7 years of market research experience in an agency with knowledge of Polling and Academic research.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Well-developed knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring team members.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Political/Social Sciences or Business/Commerce.
  • Fluent in English and have valid working rights in Australia.
