IMC is offering a 10-week Trader Internship in Sydney, Australia. This internship provides a dynamic environment where interns are trusted to make decisions from day one. The role involves trading a wide range of financial instruments, solving complex problems related to global events, market shifts, and pricing.Interns will experience life as a trader at IMC through hands-on and classroom training, with a mentor overseeing their work and professional development. The majority of interns secure a graduate position at the end of the program.Responsibilities:

• Immerse in real projects and complex problem-solving.
• Develop trading skills and strategies with the in-house trading simulation.
• Learn about the trading industry and market-making.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Receive support from a mentor for progress and professional development.
• Have the opportunity to secure a full-time role with IMC after graduation.

Requirements:

• An academic background in Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuaries, Finance, or Economics, with a minimum Distinction average or equivalent.
• Strong analytical skills and desire to solve complicated problems.
• The ability to make decisions in uncertainty and remain focused under pressure.
• A genuine passion for financial markets (no prior knowledge or experience is required).
