The successful candidate will work with various programming languages and be passionate about solving real-world problems.

The Senior Backend Software Engineer will be responsible for developing high-quality code, understanding the impact of solutions on the end-user, ensuring technical solutions align with business strategy, collaborating on architectural designs, and mentoring junior developers.

Responsibilities:

• Developing ensuring functionality, maintainability, and speed
• Understanding the impact of solutions on the end-user
• Ensuring technical solutions align with business strategy
• Assisting in designing solutions with evolutionary architecture
• Collaborating on improving technical skills within the team
• Developing successors by providing technical mentorship

Requirements:

• Proficiency in backend programming languages (Java, Python, Ruby, Go, etc.)
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
• Knowledge of Clean Code and design patterns
• Experience in test pyramids and automated testing
• Experience with messaging tools (Kafka, AWS-SQS, etc.)
• Experience and/or ability to discuss and critique concepts on Domain Driven Design
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and guide junior developers
