DoiT is seeking a VP of R&D to lead and scale their global engineering organization, distributed across the US, EMEA, and APAC. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the VP of R&D will define the technical and people strategy for DoiT's cloud-native SaaS products and champion best practices in distributed engineering.

Responsibilities include:
  • Developing a deep understanding of DoiT's technology stack.
  • Defining and communicating the engineering strategy.
  • Leading, mentoring, and growing a high-performing engineering team.
  • Overseeing the development and delivery of scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions.
  • Implementing and refining processes to enhance productivity, quality, and agility.
  • Collaborating with Product Management and other cross-functional teams.
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Partnering with Client Services and other departments to ensure seamless integration of products and services.
Qualifications include:
  • 15+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 10 years in a leadership role at B2B SaaS companies.
  • Extensive experience with cloud-native technologies and public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Proven track record of leading distributed teams and delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong technical acumen, with a background in software development, architecture, and systems design.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience driving operational excellence.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure cost optimization and FinOps principles.
  • Excellent communication skills.
