Job Description

FREENOW is seeking a talented Staff Frontend Engineer to join their Supply domain team. The engineer will collaborate with teams, shape technical vision, champion best practices, mentor engineers, and drive initiatives to elevate frontend development.

Role involves:

  • Collaborating with Principal Engineers and Engineering Managers.
  • Leading initiatives like pairing sessions and architecture decisions.
  • Designing scalable frontend systems.
  • Making key technology decisions and managing technical backlogs.
  • Mentoring engineers and guide technical decisions.
  • Communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Driving technical excellence, process improvements, and innovation.
  • Supporting hiring and mentoring team members.

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of React (17+), Next.js (14+), ES2024 / TypeScript, and Testing Library.
  • Experience with React Server Components.
  • Experience with multilingual products.
  • Experience with build tools (Vite).
  • Experience with React on the server (Server Components and Actions).
  • Experience with E2E testing (Playwright).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub / GitLab).
  • Experience with Automated versioning and releases (Semantic Release).
  • Experience with Component libraries and UI documentation (Storybook).
  • Experience with Web Accessibility
