Director, Corporate Development

Job Description

Xometry is seeking a Director of Corporate Development to lead its Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) activities. This role is critical in driving inorganic growth strategy, identifying, and executing acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading all phases of the M&A lifecycle.Responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing Xometry's M&A strategy.
• Leading all aspects of the M&A process.
• Identifying and evaluating potential acquisition targets.
• Managing cross-functional due diligence teams.
• Developing financial models, conducting valuations, and leading negotiations.
• Overseeing the transaction process.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and execute post-acquisition integration plans.
• Conducting ongoing market and competitive analysis.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with investment banks and private equity firms.
• Working closely with senior management, finance, and legal teams.
• Providing regular updates on M&A activity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or a related field.
• Proven track record of leading and executing successful M&A transactions.
• Understanding of the M&A process, including due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the manufacturing, technology, or e-commerce industries is a plus.
