Associate General Counsel

Job Description

Xometry is seeking an Associate General Counsel to join their Legal Department. This role will provide strategic legal advice and counsel to the company on a wide range of legal and business matters. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of legal expertise, strong business acumen, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

The Associate General Counsel will report to the General Counsel and will be responsible for providing legal support to various departments within the company. The role also involves leading and mentoring a team of legal professionals.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing legal advice and counsel on global legal and business issues.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
• Conducting legal research and analysis.
• Assisting with corporate governance matters.
• Advising on intellectual property and employment law matters.
• Supporting business development initiatives.

The ideal candidate possesses:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
• 10+ years of relevant legal experience with 5+ years of in-house experience, preferably within a technology company.
• Strong understanding of corporate law, commercial law, and other relevant areas of law.
• Experience with ITAR/export control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
