Interactive Brokers is seeking an Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Analyst for their Chicago office. This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in the office and allowing two days of remote work.The EDD Analyst will report to a local EDD Manager and support the firm's compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, and anti-money laundering (AML) laws. The role involves reviewing client profiles, conducting negative news searches, and contributing to process improvements.Responsibilities:
- Conduct ongoing reviews of client profiles and transactions.
- Maintain accurate tracking of assignments and requests for documentation.
- Contribute to streamlining current processes and identifying areas for improvement.
- Perform negative news and public domain searches on high-risk clients and related parties.
- Regulatory or compliance experience in a financial services setting or a solid academic background in law, accounting, or data analytics.
- Comfort and fluency with computers and technology.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
