Logistics Coordinator II, International Freight

Job Description

Xometry, a company connecting people with manufacturers, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator II to join their fast-paced Logistics Department. The role involves working with internal and external customers to coordinate international and domestic shipments.Responsibilities:

• Preparing shipping freight forwarding requests for quotes and analyzing rates.
• Ensuring regulatory requirements are met and shipments have the correct paperwork.
• Maintaining accurate costs and profits through proper billing.
• Collaborating with internal and external parties for end-to-end delivery.
• Developing techniques and procedures for transporting commodities.
• Managing relationships with local suppliers and co-load carriers.
• Performing data entry requests into internal systems.
• Maintaining customer service.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the international logistics industry.
• Extensive experience with Major Carriers as well as with International Freight Forwarders
• Excellent writing and speaking skills.
• Proficiency in ERP, Salesforce and understanding of Microsoft Excel and database functions
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
