Logistics Coordinator II, International Freight

Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator II, International Freight role at Xometry involves coordinating international and domestic shipments. The individual will work with internal and external customers to quote and coordinate shipments.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing shipping freight forwarding requests for quotes and analyzing rates.
• Ensuring regulatory requirements are met and documentation is processed correctly.
• Maintaining accurate costs and profits through proper billing.
• Collaborating with internal and external parties to ensure end-to-end delivery.
• Developing techniques and procedures for transporting commodities.
• Managing relationships with local suppliers and co-load carriers.
• Performing data entry requests into internal systems.
• Maintaining world-class customer service.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the international logistics industry.
• Extensive experience with Major Carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL) and International Freight Forwarders
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in ERP, Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, and database functions.
• Outgoing and forward-thinking mindset.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
