Xometry is seeking a Senior Account Executive, Strategic to drive new business within existing enterprise customers. This individual will play a crucial role in understanding customer needs, demonstrating the value of Xometry's offerings, and expanding the company's market share. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and possesses a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry.
- Sales of technical products and services to Fortune 500 customers
- Strategic revenue growth of enterprise level customers
- Building relationships with engineering staff, program management, procurement and executive management
- Setting up sales calls for company executives and engineers with prospective clients
- Qualifying potential leads
- Working with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs
- Ensuring data accuracy within the company’s CRM
- Proposing solutions and negotiating contract terms
- Participating in training and mentoring programs
- 7+ years of sales experience in a closing role
- 2+ years of experience selling technical products or services in the manufacturing space
- 3+ years of experience selling into Fortune 500 companies
- Knowledge of manufacturing or engineering
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
- Proficiency with in-person and virtual presentations
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Zoom/WebEx/GoToMeeting
- CRM experience with Salesforce or similar systems
- Prospecting and sales planning skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation skills and results driven
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree required
