Xometry is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their collaborative team. The engineer will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and releasing software for the instant-quote product and technology platform. Xometry powers the industries of today and tomorrow by connecting the people with big ideas to the manufacturers who can bring them to life.
- Designing, coding, testing, and releasing software
- Reading, writing, and reviewing code in HTML, Typescript/Javascript/React, Node, and GraphQL
- Collaborating with engineers and product managers
- Deploying services into an AWS and Kubernetes environment
- Participating in an on-call rotation
- 5+ years of experience as a software developer
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, DOM web programming
- Experience in React, Node, and GraphQL
- Experience with software engineering principles related to security, scalability, asynchronous programming, and transactions
- Attention to detail, good work ethic, and communication skills
