LayerZero is seeking a Smart Contract Engineer to join their team and contribute to revolutionizing blockchain interoperability. The Smart Contract Engineer will be at the forefront of developing and deploying smart contracts that drive innovation and facilitate seamless interactions across different blockchain networks.

What You'll Do:
- Design and develop smart contracts on blockchain platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
- Conduct code reviews and implement best practices.
- Develop and maintain testing frameworks and tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements.
- Contribute to the research and development of new blockchain solutions.
- Document code, specifications, and processes.
- Collaborate with external partners for code audits.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong proficiency in blockchain technologies and smart contract development.
- Experience developing and deploying smart contracts on Ethereum or other blockchain platforms.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Solidity, Vyper, or similar.
- In-depth understanding of blockchain concepts, decentralized applications, and consensus mechanisms.
- Familiarity with blockchain development frameworks, tools, and libraries.
- Knowledge of security best practices for smart contract development.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate complex technical concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward learning.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development is preferred.
Role Offers:
- Base salary range from $120,000/year up to $200,000/year.
