Job Description

Wrike is seeking a Business Development Representative (Inside Sales) to join their team. This role focuses on expanding the Wrike product within current customer accounts. The Business Development Representative will work closely with Account Managers to achieve booking targets through inbound and outbound sales activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing customer personas and demographics to generate leads.
  • Understanding buyer personas and market needs to tailor communication.
  • Researching competitors and market trends.
  • Identifying new prospects within existing accounts.
  • Collaborating with Account Managers on account strategy.
  • Actively seeking out additional contacts and decision-makers.
  • Conducting research on prospects and their organizations.
  • Utilizing tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Salesforce.
  • Compiling lists of potential leads and contacting them.
  • Assessing the suitability of potential opportunities.
  • Persuading prospects to engage in calls or meetings.
  • Qualifying new opportunities and routing them to Account Managers.
  • Partnering with sales teams to refine messaging.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1-2+ years of successful sales experience (Tech/SaaS Preferred).
  • Experience handling the full sales cycle.
  • Experience handling customer relationships.
  • Experience with solution selling.
  • Outbound sales calling experience.
  • Experiencing filtering through a large number of inbound leads/trials, and promptly following up on those leads
  • Ability to conduct end-user demonstrations over video conferencing/zoom.
