Wrike is seeking a skilled Middle Backend Engineer to join their mobile team in Prague. The engineer will focus on improving backend services using Kotlin, contributing to the mobile app's core logic, and enhancing user experience. Wrike promotes a hybrid work mode for those that live near an office hub, with team members meeting in the office 2-3 times a week.Responsibilities:
- Work on Kotlin-based backend services for the mobile app
- Contribute to the core platform, including APIs, business logic, and optimizations for mobile
- Participate in code reviews, peer reviews, and collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Evolve the service and contribute innovative solutions for Kotlin
- Minimum 3-5 years of SW development experience with Java, Spring, Mybatis, Postgres, Maven
- At least 1 year of production experience with Kotlin
- Strong understanding of backend architecture, SOLID principles, and REST
- Knowledge of SQL, REST, and a commitment to continuous learning
- Good communication skills in English
