Job Description

Wrike is seeking a Senior SW Backend Engineer to join its Alpaca team in Prague. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of internal tools and services, improve product accessibility, integrate new features, and continuously improve APIs. They will participate in the global refactoring of our public API, Improving the login experience for our customers etc. Wrike promotes a hybrid work mode for those that live near an office hub, we meet in the office 2-3 times a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Internal tooling development using Java, Google PubSub, ETCD, Redis, Mybatis, Postgres, Maven
  • Improvements of the product accessibility
  • Development of standard solutions for services for further implementation in the development process
  • New features integration, prioritization and communication across multiple teams
  • APIs continuous improvement, monitoring, logging and data export stability
  • Work using a classic scrum method in small teams with an opportunity to grow to senior/leading position
  • Daily releases, code reviews, and unit tests

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Java with experience in Google PubSub, ETCD, Redis, Mybatis, Postgres, Maven
  • Advanced communication skills in English
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant SW development experience; or a Master’s degree with 5 years' experience
