Wrike is seeking a Senior Python Developer to join their DevOps team. This role involves designing and implementing components of an internal development platform, including scripts, CLI tools, microservices, and UI components. The ideal candidate will have strong Python development skills and experience creating maintainable, well-tested production code. They should also possess an understanding of SDLC, DevOps practices, containerization, GitOps, and cloud platforms.The Senior Python Developer at Wrike will report to Pavel Ivakin and be part of a team of 7. The team uses a tech stack that includes Python, TypeScript, Bash, FastAPI, Pytest+VCR, SQLAlchemy, Angular, Gitlab, Gitlab-CI, TeamCity, k8s(GKE), ArgoCD, Linux, GCP Prometheus, Grafana, and Sentry. The team follows Scrum-based processes and operates in a hybrid mode, with 1-2 days in the office by agreement.Responsibilities:
  • Implementing and adapting internal development platform.
  • Automating release processes and implementing GitOps workflows.
  • Ensuring high code quality through comprehensive testing strategies.
  • Maintaining and improving system documentation and runbooks.
  • Providing technical support for platform users.
  • Improving FE and BE CI/CD product pipelines.
  • Maintaining L10n integrations.
  • Working on Mobile app pipelines improvements.
  • Maintaining pipeline performance goals and error budget.
Requirements:
  • Advanced expertise in typed-annotated async Python.
  • Willingness to take ownership of specific projects.
  • Ability to conduct meetings with internal clients.
  • Experience writing user and tech documentation.
  • Strong debug skills including dealing with network problems and SQL performance issues.
  • Essential Linux skills.
  • Confident level of English.
