Job Description
Spektrum is seeking an Intermediate Test Engineer for a role located in Strasbourg, France, to support eu-LISA. The candidate will be involved in testing large-scale IT systems related to European Union's justice, security, and freedom initiatives.This role involves:
  • Developing test strategies, processes, and documentation.
  • Performing testing activities and reporting issues.
  • Using and developing test tools for automation.
  • Interacting with project teams and stakeholders.
Requirements include:
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant education (bachelor or equivalent).
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant IT experience with 5 years in testing.
  • ISTQB Foundations Level certificate.
  • ITIL/ITIL V3 foundations certification.
  • Database skills in Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Experience with WebLogic.
  • Good experience with Unix variants Operating Systems.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming and J2EE architecture.
  • Knowledge of automated testing tools.
  • Understanding of IP networking and related protocols.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Flexibility, independence, and self-motivation.
  • Good project management knowledge.
  • Strong abilities in collaboration, problem-solving, and debugging.
